The aim of the level is simply to progress to a designated exit; with any number of timed or "unique" threats thrown in to keep you on your toes. The random nature of the levels always produces interesting opportunities to utilise various loadouts; and that cool feeling of being powerful once you've learned how to pirouette through the air with your hookshot, slaying beasts left and right; or facing down multiple strong enemies countering their attacks with the shield without taking even 1 hit yourself is immensely satisfying. More variety in music/sound and additional level templates certainly wouldn't go astray; but considering these have been promised for future updates, and considering the early access price point, I can easily see this becoming a challenging and rewarding game to sink some hours into!!. Aura of Worlds is a Thinking Person's Dead Cells. The difficulty curve in that version of the game was steep early on, but Aura of Worlds rewarded my time playing the game, and I could feel options and systems really opening up with more familiarity. Its approach to the roguelite platformer is worth sitting with - its physics (and interactive objects throughout a level) mean that often the best path to defeating enemies is not potentially head-to-head combat.The team has been diligent in providing content updates, especially in response to community feedback. I'm looking forward to delving back into Aura of Worlds in the near future to see what's changed. A well-polished, challenging game that has more variety than you would think. Would recommend.. A fun little rompA cool little dungeon crawler that gives you a random assortment of skills and weapons.I'm a big fan of unlocking things so it was pretty fun to see new abilities and weapons to put in the rosters.Each play through feels pretty interesting especially when something new is dropped into the mix.I'm not a huge fan of levels that force you to move quickly. I play very methodically but I got the hang of it. The repetition is certainly a part of the formulae tho each time you get a bit faster and with better weapon combos you can get a good flow going.. Fantastic game! It's good to finally have something that I can unwind with. Looking forward to see where it goes in the future!
